Description
Plates off the floor, always within reach. The JORDAN HELIX Weight Storage Horns for Fixed Power Racks cost £514 a pair, with free UK delivery. They bolt onto the uprights of a fixed HELIX rack and turn wasted vertical space into plate storage — without giving up a single square metre of floor.
⚠️ Buy the version that matches your rack
There are three, and they are not interchangeable. Check which rack you own before ordering:
- Fixed Power Racks — £514 (this one, JF-HX-FPRWS)
- Free Standing Power Racks — £479 (JF-HX-FSPRWS), each horn rated to 200kg
- Power Rack [LTR] — £278 (JF-HXL-PRWS)
If you are not certain which frame you have, send us the rack model before you order and we will confirm the right set — it is the one thing on this page worth a two-minute phone call.
Is plate storage worth £514?
Set against what it protects, yes. A 200kg urethane plate set is over £1,200, and plates stacked on the floor get chipped edges and cracked inserts — damage no warranty covers. It is also the second most common trip hazard on a free-weights floor after kettlebells, and lifting a 20kg plate off a flat floor is the worst possible position for a lower back.
Working to a smaller budget, or storing plates away from the rack? The JORDAN Olympic Weight Tree at £228 does the same job standing separately — it costs its own square metre of floor, but less than half the money.
