Nautilus machines are engineered around variable resistance: the cam and leverage geometry change the load through the movement so it stays matched to your strength curve — heavier where you are strong, lighter where you are weak. A workable commercial circuit is usually 8–12 stations: chest press, shoulder press, lat pull down, row, leg press, leg extension, leg curl and abdominal, then arms and glutes as budget allows. Where floor space is tight, Instinct dual-function machines cover two of those per frame.
