The Cadillac Reformer combines two apparatus in one frame
The TALMA 62CR Cadillac Reformer puts reformer and Cadillac work on a single frame, covering both repertoires in roughly the floor space of one machine. It is the option to look at when you want both and the room will not take two apparatus.
Where two people need to work at the same time, a separate reformer and Cadillac remain the better fit — two apparatus means two clients, one combined frame means one.

Which apparatus should you buy first?
- One piece of apparatus, home or small studio: the TALMA 62 Pilates Reformer from £3,000. The reformer is the apparatus the method is built around — everything else extends it.
- Reformer plus tower work, limited space: the 62CT Convertible Tower from £2,136 converts between tower and mat work in one frame.
- Smallest possible footprint: the 62CH Pilates Chair at £2,016 takes up less floor than any other apparatus here and still trains standing, seated and supine work.
- Reformer and Cadillac work in one footprint: the 62CR Cadillac Reformer at £6,960, for the reasons above.
- Rehabilitation and assisted work: the TRC Cadillac Trapeze at £5,520 gives the widest range of supported and spring-assisted positions.
Accessories worth buying with the reformer
A Modern Pilates Box (£348) and a Jumpboard (£288) between them roughly double what a reformer can do — the box adds long box, short box and prone work, the jumpboard adds plyometric and cardio-style sequences. A set of spare springs (£54) is worth having from day one; springs are the wear part on any reformer. The 62 Accessories Rack (£324) keeps everything at the machine rather than in a cupboard.
