The Star Trac series, explained
- 4-Series — the entry point into the commercial range. Full commercial build at the lowest specification, suited to hotel gyms, apartment blocks and smaller facilities.
- 6 Series — mid-range commercial, with a step up in console and finish.
- 8 Series — the mainstream commercial line, and the one most large operators specify. Widest choice of consoles and the broadest range of machine types.
- 10 Series / FreeRunner™ — the flagship treadmill platform.
Which machine for which room?
- Hotel or apartment-block gym: upright and recumbent bikes plus a treadmill. Bikes need no supervision and suit every guest; a recumbent covers anyone who struggles to mount an upright.
- Full commercial cardio floor: a mix of treadmills, cross trainers and bikes from the 8 Series, so consoles and finish match across the room.
- Rehabilitation or clinical setting: recumbent bikes and the 8VS Versastrider, both of which support the user through the movement.
- High-end home gym: the 4-Series Treadmill from £3,617 or the 4CT Cross Trainer from £2,681 give you genuine commercial build without commercial-floor pricing.
