Multi gyms and multi-station systems — UK prices from £1,660

Pro Gym Essentials supplies multi gyms and multi-station cable systems to UK home gyms, PT studios, hotels and commercial floors, from a £1,660 half rack up to nine-station commercial systems.

Multi-station systems — and what each station actually costs you

The headline price of a multi-station tells you very little on its own. Divide it by the number of stations and the picture changes:

Attack Fitness 4 Station (Lat Pull / Low Row / Tricep) £6,670.00 £1,667.50 per station
Attack Fitness 8 Station £14,120.00 £1,765.00 per station
Attack Fitness 5 Station £10,060.00 £2,012.00 per station
Nautilus 4, 5 and 9 Station Price on request Quoted per installation

If your constraint is how many people can train at once, cost per station is the number that matters. If your constraint is floor space, note that a 9-station system does not take twice the footprint of a 4-station — the stations share one frame, which is the entire reason multi-stations exist.

Who should buy which

  • Home gym, one or two people: you almost certainly do not need a multi-station. A rack plus a bench plus an adjustable pulley covers everything a 4-station does, costs less, and takes less floor. See Racks & Rigs and Cable Machines.
  • Hotel, apartment block, office or clinic gym: a multi-station is exactly the right answer. Enclosed weight stacks, pin selection, no loose plates and nothing that can be dropped — which is what an unsupervised room needs.
  • PT studio: a 4 or 5 station lets a trainer move a client through a circuit without waiting for equipment.
  • Commercial floor: 8 or 9 stations, where the per-station cost is lowest and the frame is shared.
  • Training alone and lifting heavy: a Smith machine at £2,680 gives you a fixed bar path with catch points at every height, which is the safest way to press or squat heavy with no spotter.
