Classic motorised treadmills — quoted per site

Pro Gym Essentials supplies commercial motorised treadmills to UK home gyms, studios and gym floors. The motorised range is Star Trac, a quote-only line specified and priced per installation.

The range

Star Trac 4-Series Treadmill Price on request Commercial motorised deck with powered incline.
Star Trac 8TRX Treadmill Price on request Top-tier commercial build and console.

Within each model the variable is console specification, not the running deck. If your console needs to show speed, incline, distance and heart rate and nothing else, the lower console option keeps the cost down considerably on the same machine underneath — tell us which you want when you request a quote.

Why a motorised treadmill

  • It holds a pace for you. Set 12 km/h and the belt runs at 12 km/h whether you are comfortable or not. If you are training to a prescribed pace or following a structured programme, this is the only type of treadmill that will do it.
  • Powered incline. Incline walking is one of the most effective and joint-friendly forms of cardio there is, and a self-powered curved treadmill cannot do it.
  • Steady-state and long runs. A motor does the work of moving the belt, so an hour at a steady pace is far more sustainable than on a self-powered deck.
  • Rehabilitation and controlled walking. A precisely controlled slow speed is exactly what a motor is for.

What to check before ordering

A commercial treadmill needs a mains socket on its own circuit, roughly 2m × 1m of floor with clear space behind it, and enough ceiling height for your own height plus the deck height — the running surface sits around 20cm off the floor, which catches people out in garages and lofts. These are also the heaviest machines we ship: check doorway widths, any turns in a hallway, and floor loading if it is going upstairs. Contact us with your measurements and we will confirm the fit before you order.
