Which glove size should you choose?
16oz if you intend to spar — it is the usual requirement at UK clubs. 14oz for heavier adults training on the bag. 12oz for most adults doing bag and pad work only. Below 12oz gives the least hand protection and is really a competition weight.
What this bundle does not include
A way to hang the bag. A leather heavy bag has to be fixed to a structural joist, a rated wall bracket or a freestanding frame — never to plasterboard alone. Only about one in forty of our punch bag orders includes mounting hardware, so check your fixing before delivery.
If you would rather have the bracket included, The Boxing Setup adds a UK-made JORDAN wall bracket from £442.51.
