Description
Neutral-grip arm training, easier on the wrists. The JORDAN Steel Series Tricep Olympic Bar costs £132. Its parallel neutral grip — palms facing each other — puts the wrists in their natural position for hammer curls and tricep extensions, which is why it stays in use when a straight bar starts causing elbow pain.
Tricep bar or curl bar?
The Super Curl Bar at £174 is the more versatile of the two — angled EZ grip, bearings rather than bushings, and it handles heavier loads. Buy this Tricep Bar at £132 when the neutral grip is the point: hammer curls hit the brachialis and forearms differently to a supinated curl, and a neutral wrist is the position most people with elbow tendon pain can still train in. At 834mm it also fits in a corner, which a 4ft EZ bar does not.
How does it compare to the rest of the range?
- Tricep — £132 · Super Curl — £174 · Safety Squat — £204 · Hex/Trap — £228 · Open Trap — £336
- JLC 7ft — £168 · Steel Series — £162 / £174 / £264 · Elite Steel — £276 · Shadow — £300 · Ultimate — £351 / £316
Delivery to the UK
Standard delivery to UK mainland addresses is £20, and free on any order over £250 — the threshold is on the order total, not the bar. Buy it with the Super Curl Bar (£174) for £306 and the order ships free.
