Description
A complete lifting station that fits where a full rack will not — £496 with free UK delivery.
The JORDAN HELIX Freestanding Half Rack [LTR] gives small studios, home gyms and hotel fitness suites a professional squat and press station without the footprint of a full power rack. It arrives ready to lift: J-hooks and safety squat arms are both included, along with an integrated pull-up bar.
Will it fit your room?
Ceiling height decides this more often than floor area. The frame stands 2.25m tall, and if anyone is going to use the pull-up bar you need your own reach above that — which rules out a lot of garages and converted lofts. It stands freely on any level indoor surface, so there is nothing to bolt down and no landlord conversation to have.
Half rack or full power rack?
A half rack gives you the two things that actually keep you safe under a heavy bar — hooks to rack it and arms to catch a failed rep — in roughly half the floor area. What you give up is the full cage and the depth to walk the bar out inside it. If you train alone and squat close to your limit, a full cage is still the safer frame; for everything else this is the better use of the space.
Which HELIX half rack should you buy?
This [LTR] version at £496 arrives with the J-hooks and safety arms already in the box, which most stands at this price do not. The HELIX Freestanding Half Rack at £579 is the heavier frame and ships with a commercially rated chin-up bar instead. Buy the LTR for a complete lifting station at the lowest price; buy the £579 frame if the rack will take continuous commercial traffic.
What can you add later?
It takes the HELIX attachment range as your training grows — the Dipping Bar at £139, the Multi Grip Pull Up Bar at £78 and the Safety Bar Attachment at £129 are the usual first additions. Weight storage horns are sold per rack type rather than universally, so send us your frame model and we will confirm which set fits before you order.
Who is it for?
The [LTR] light-commercial rating covers PT studios, small gyms, hotel fitness suites and premium home setups — rooms with steady rather than continuous traffic.
