The StairMaster 10G Gauntlet is the top of the range and the most advanced stair climber StairMaster builds. Its distinguishing feature is OverDrive Training Mode, which simulates the resistance of carrying or pushing a load upstairs — a protocol nothing else on a standard gym floor replicates. It's built for performance facilities, commercial gyms and high-specification home gyms rather than general fitness floors — the specification and price reflect that.
Which console should you choose?
The Apex LED Display at £7,375 is the standard console — clear, responsive, and built to track every key metric through a hard climb.
The 16" Apex HD Touchscreen at £8,895 adds fully interactive, customisable connected workouts. At this level the screen is usually part of the offer rather than an upgrade.
Is the 10G worth it over the 8Gx?
Only if you will use what it adds. The widest and deepest stepping surface and the lowest step-up height in the industry matter for taller users, for deconditioned or rehab users who struggle with a high first step, and for long sessions where foot placement fatigue becomes the limiting factor.
OverDrive is the real reason to buy the 10G: loaded-climb work for athletes, tactical and emergency-services training, and anyone building genuine hill and stair capacity. If none of that describes your members, the 8Gx from £4,995 gives you the same core workout for meaningfully less.
Delivery to the UK
Free UK delivery on both console options. Orders are dispatched within 5 working days, with tracking emailed within 24 hours of dispatch, and delivered across the UK by our delivery partners. Check ceiling height as well as floor area — a stepmill raises the user well above floor level, and that is the dimension most commonly missed on a site survey. Cancellation is free within 48 hours of ordering.
Buying for a gym, studio or facility?
Three things worth knowing before you compare quotes.
- Business finance. On equipment orders of £5,000 and above we can introduce you to Vercas Financial for Hire Purchase, Finance Lease or an unsecured business loan — open to UK limited companies and partnerships of four or more partners. Vercas handles the quote and the paperwork directly; our role is the introduction. Both 10G consoles qualify on price alone, at £7,375 and £8,895. - Installation. Available on many items, arranged before you order and quoted separately — ask us when you enquire rather than expecting it at checkout.
