⚠️ Will a 6ft bar fit a power rack? No.

6ft or 5ft?
This 6ft bar is 15kg with 280mm sleeves; the MYO 5ft at £140 is 13kg with 270mm. The extra sleeve length takes more plate before you run out of room, and 15kg is the standard women's Olympic bar weight, so calculations stay simple. £10 is a small price for both — take the 6ft unless the room genuinely cannot swing it.
Why 28mm rather than a thicker shaft?
28mm is the IWF men's competition diameter and the one that whips — the small amount of bar flex that helps a heavy clean out of the bottom. Thicker shafts are stiffer and feel more solid under a squat or bench but kill that whip. If you clean, snatch or press, 28mm is the correct diameter.
