There is no price difference, so decide on the movement. This standard version presses on a fixed parallel path — simple, predictable, and preferred by lifters who want a consistent groove for heavy work. The Attack Strength Chest Press (Converging) at the same £3,100 drives the handles inward through the rep, which matches what the pecs actually do and gives a stronger peak contraction. For a general commercial floor, the converging version is usually the better buy at identical money — we would rather say so than sell you the wrong one.
Why selectorised rather than plate-loaded?
Throughput and safety. A pin takes two seconds and needs no technique; plate-loaded machines leave plates on the floor and on the pins, and members change weight less often because it is a chore.
